Raised in a military household, Bryan’s passion for technology was sparked early by his father, a computer engineer for the Air Force working at WADS on JBLM. From learning basic IT skills at his dad’s side to modding games and diving into robotics in high school, coding quickly became his calling. Bryan now serves as a Full-Stack Software Developer at Destiny Tech, building new features for both the WordPress plugin and the mobile app to streamline operations across the East West Consulting Group.
Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University and an Associate’s from SPSCC, Bryan specializes in game development and computer graphics. His research has been recognized nationally, with an invitation to present at NCUR and upcoming publication by CHI Play. Initially hired as a security officer, he quickly transitioned to the tech team, bringing a unique perspective grounded in firsthand experience with company operations and employee needs in the security industry.
Bryan is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and staying on top of emerging AI trends. Outside of work, you’ll often find him connecting with friends online, playing Magic: The Gathering or D&D, reading fantasy epics, or exploring the outdoors on hikes, backpacking trips, and fishing adventures. He’s also a regular in Olympia’s local music scene, always searching for the next great live performance.
Guided by his favorite quote from The Stormlight Archive series– “If I must fall, I will rise each time a better man” – Bryan believes every setback is a chance to learn and grow stronger. His upbringing instilled in him discipline, responsibility, and an unwavering drive to keep improving, no matter the challenge.
